  • You can post any questions about your imagery, assets or pitches, in the Community group.

  • As per our T&C’s you must not store information including email addresses, names, features or any other information in external files, databases, or programs, the exception being to an email client software to email that specific contact.

  • Press contacts can sometimes change. Forward us the email response and we'll update the database with the relevant information.

    If you'd like to respond to the editor, you can use the template below:

    "Hi {editor name},

    Thank you for letting me know and apologies for sending these products your way.

    Feel free to reach out if something catches your eye for any features in the future.

    Best,"

  • You don't need to refer to us within your email pitches, as it's not relevant information for the press. When pitching to the press, it should come directly from you as a brand.

  • Use the Pitch Trackers within the database to stay on top of who you’ve pitched to and monitor coverage opportunities

  • The press will only respond if they wish to take your pitch forward. If you don’t hear back within a week, a polite follow-up can be useful.

    However, it’s not just about getting an immediate response—being visible in their inbox increases your chances of being considered for future features. Even if they don’t pick up your product or story now, they may remember you when a relevant opportunity arises later.

Christmas GIFT GUIDE SPECIFIC

  • If gift guide does not have a contact listed yet it is because it is not yet confirmed. As soon as we have updates, they'll be added to the database.

    Usually online or daily publications only. Pitch every 4 weeks, highlighting new product suggestions.

    Just send one email to the editor and mention which publication you believe is most relevant for you.

  • Follow our usual pitching guidelines and personalise the email to the publication. E.g. "Hello team Grazia."

  • Publications with a specific deadline for product suggestions are marked 'confirmed' in the database.

    For others, we estimate an 'approximate' deadline based on our knowledge of the publication and past gift guides.

  • The pricing filters show confirmed or approximate retail price ranges of products that publications might be interested in, from 'Under £5' up to a maximum of 'Under £300'."

    Note - selecting ‘Under £20’ will ONLY show opportunities marked £20 and under: ‘Under £20’ 'Under 15', 'Under 10', 'Under 5'.

  • Themes are sometimes determined after publications receive all product pitches.

    When themes/categories are still pending confirmation, we provide a list of last year's gift guide themes and categories as a reference.

General

  • Between 1/04/20 and 1/3/23 VAT invoices were sent via notifications@quaderno.io. Please check your email, junk and spam for past VAT invoices.

    From 1/3/23 to present day you will find invoices in the profile section of your account under billing.

    All sales (to both the UK and the rest of world) are marked up by 20% in line with UK VAT. Purchases made within the UK will be eligible for a 20% VAT breakdown invoice. Sales made outside the UK will show the 20% mark up with a 0% VAT rate. In this instance, this additional charge is retained by PR Dispatch to cover the associated administration of rest of world transactions. We do not offer reverse VAT or VAT refunds. Location is based on your IP address of where you are when you first sign up to become a member.

  • We don’t send invoices before a payment is made. A subscription is automatically set up when you join us.

  • You can cancel at any point during your membership and you won’t be charged again. To cancel:
    1. Log in
    2. Head to ’Profile’ in the top right-hand side corner
    3. Into plan or billing
    4. Click cancel subscription
    5. Tell us why you are cancelling and select ‘cancel subscription’


    Christmas Gift Guiders do not need cancel as you will only be charged once.

  • You will have access until your next scheduled payment date. For example, if you sign up for a monthly membership on March 6th, you'll have access until June 5th, even if you cancel on May 15th. Once your membership expires, access to the resources and database will be revoked.

  • The old pricing is no longer available for new or returning members, so if you cancel, you would lose your discounted rate and need to repurchase at the current higher price.

Payment & cancellation

  • If you are:
    - On the lite plan with a Christmas add on
    - On a 2024 Christmas Plan

    you're access will end 24th December 2024.

  • To ensure you continue to qualify for the discounted Christmas access, you must also have an active Lite plan for the duration of your Christmas Gift Guide PR access.

    If you choose to cancel your Lite plan before 24th December 2024 you will be charged the £175 difference to access the Christmas as a non-member.
