Strategy Execution

Making it happen

20+ years in PR have taught us three things:

  • PR often falls to the bottom of the to-do list.

  • Weekly press outreach is simple when you know how.

  • PR works best when it’s consistent.

That’s where we come in. Our platform keeps you focused, showing you what to say, who to pitch, and how to track it—all in as little as 60 minutes a week.

TIME: 1-2 hours. weekly.

  1. Pitch to ‘Proactive opportunities

If you've followed our quarterly planning, you've likely already saved relevant opportunities.

What:

  • Pitch to 5+ ‘Proactive Opportunities.’ Across product placement or profile press.

  • Follow up on last week’s pitches.

Why: Journalists check their inboxes first for feature-worthy products or businesses.

TIME: 20 MINUTES. WEEKLY

2. Check for relevant request opportunities

Core requests
Press requests are a last resort—journalists check inboxes first, so proactive outreach is key. Still, check them twice a week. When a relevant one comes in, act fast—it boosts your chances since they’re compiling the article at that moment

Gift guide requests
Christmas gift guides request peak from July to December—set aside extra time during the season.

What:

  • Check both core and gift guide ‘Request’ pages.

  • Only respond to relevant requests to ensure you are building positive press relationships.

Why: It boosts your chances of being featured since the press is actively searching for that product, comment, experience, or opinion.

TIME: 10 MINUTES. WEEKLY

3. Tracking and Maximising Coverage

The press often features brands without replying—especially for online product placements. Track coverage regularly.

When featured, share it fast across your channels (website, social, email). Set time aside for this.
